Not really: Bruising without any traumatic causes is not normal and should be further evaluated by your doctor. Unusual bruising can be an indication of another problem.

Post sprained ankle week ago. Swelling is down completely but bruised & very hard muscle and really hurts when touched on leg above ankle. Now I get burning pain in muscle if stand for min but pain instantly goes away after i lift it. Is this normal?
