My 15 month old has started coughing in her sleep. she rarely coughs when awake but sneezes while awake. nothing is helping her any ideas?

Foreign body?: She sounds like she may have some nasal irritation which makes her sneeze in daytime but causes drip that makes her cough at night. Little kids frequently put things in their noses so, please have her checked for a foreign body. Alternately, it could be reflux or allergies. Talk to your pediatrician and/or ENT for your next steps.
