I'm 5 months pregnant and i've been working at a gas station for about a year now but lately it's been smelling a lot like natural gas. any advice?

Tough question: There probably aren't enough studies about mothers' exposure to gasoline fumes to tell you what effect this may have. Gasoline is certainly not safe to be inhaling for long for anyone though, pregnant or not. Your baby's brain is still developing and you may benefit from a different line of work temporarily. Your doctor could write you a note, though i understand if finances force you to work.

Employer issue: Ask your employer to check the premises for a propane or natural gas leak. Keep in mind that pregnant women often have difficulty with smelling and are hypersensitive to odors.
