Open MRI : They have open mris that are relative open and give reasonably good images. I would check to see if there is an open MRI in your area. You may still need some xanax (alprazolam) for your nerves. Good luck. Feel betterp.

Claustrophobia : You might ask about "open mri" scanners -- some are available, but i don't know about your community. They don't involve you being put into a tube. Another option is a dose of Ativan (lorazepam) before the procedure for calming. Hypnosis may help a lot too.
