Ulcers & night sweat: I assume you mean he has 3 ulcers in his stomach. Peptic ulcers are now known to be caused by a germ called h pylori, which should be treated with at least 2 antibiotics and omeprazole. Night sweats are not usually a symptom of peptic ulcer, but can be a symptom in anyone who is very uncomfortable. Ulcers tend to hurt the most at night because there is nothing to buffer the normal acid.
