No: Fish oil can reduce the risk of dementia such as alzheimer's ... It won't affect memory otherwise.

Probably at your age: A new study out of france shows that it can improve the cognitive functioning of young people. However, in the elderly, especially elderly women, the results have been somewhat disappointing. That is not to say that people should not take them because the brain needs them for other functions as well.
