CHF: Treatment depends on what the cause of the CHF is. Could be surgical, could be medical. Systolic CHF is different from diastolic CHF and valvar stenosis CHF is different from valvar insufficiency chf. Virtually all kinds have diuretic as part of the treatment.

Common themes: The real answer depends on the cause. There are common themes, though. If you have CHF with lv dysfunction, you will probably benefit from some level of regular exercise, angiotensin blockade (ace/arb), beta blocker therapy, and an aldosterone blocker. (all of those things should be considered.) heart failure is a speciality inside cardiology and there are heart failure teams for expert care.
