BRONCHIOLITIS...?: 4 month old can have viral bronchiolitis, one common cause is respiratory syncitial virus (rsv). Others: winter viruses, rarely- bacteria. Home management: humidification of air by using humidifier, keep room temperature between 68-70 f, make sure the child drinks enough fluid. If wheezing, nebulized broncho-dilator/hypertonic saline helps. Best thing to do: have him checked by the pediatrician.
