Please tell me what causes low IQ if it's not genetic? What is the most significant factor in your iq?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Debra Kissen
10 years experience in ADHD and Autism
Part Genetics: One's iq is impacted by genetics as well as the environment ( both in utero as well as external environment ) and one's health history ( for example, if one has trauma to the head, it could impact iq). In addition, diet can impact iq, as there as certain foods that support brain health. In addition, substance abuse can negatively impact iq.
