Stress Test: Stress EKG: Before exercising, EKG is done to measure heart rate at rest; and blood pressure is taken. You exercise by walking on a treadmill or pedaling a stationary bicycle. The rate of exercise or degree of difficulty gradually increases. After test heart rate, blood pressure, and EKG are monitored. Stress Test is used to assess chest pain ,shortness of breath are due to heart problem.
