A member asked:

How do 20/20 vision and say 20/200 vision differ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal and abnormal: 20/20 is considered "normal vision." the numbers are snellen visual acuity numbers and indicate a normal person can see the vision chart numbers and letters at 20 feet. 20/200 indicates reduced vision-what a normal person can see at 200 feet the abnormal person has to be at 20 feet to see. 20/20 is normal. 20/200 almost qualifies as legally blind.
