Declines as we age: In general, seniors have poorer vision due to various eye conditions that progress as we age such as cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. Seniors tolerate this decreased vison better. Boomers tend to have better vision then seniors (haven't developed any vision threatening conditions) but dont tolerate it as well and are more likely to seek ways to return to the vision of their youth.
