Can you tell me what alkaline phosphatase level in the liver mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If high...: It's a marker for slow or obstructed bile flow somewhere in the liver. It's also up in later pregnancy, any situation with growing or healing bone, and in many folks simply from a nonfasting specimen.
