Yes, be concerned: If this is a new problem, or even an old problem getting worse, it is important to see your primary care doctor for. And it is obvious to me that you are concerned. Pain is your body communicating to you that something is wrong. Unilateral pain is even more of a concern if you can not remember an injury.
