HIDA: Hida scan looks for cystic duct obstruction (acute cholecystitis) or common bile duct obstruction. Sometimes gallbladder ejection fraction is calculated during hida if cck is given. Ejection fraction can provide information about appropriate gallbladder contraction and shed light on chronic problems such as chronic cholecystitis.
