Worse than usually: Schizophrenia's symptoms can ebb and flow. An acute episode often is much worse than usual and, hopefully, return to the usual level after a short time. During this period safety and care are needed fast as delusions, hallucinations, disorganization mood may all be very unstable and intense. Take care and when things are back to usual - ask the doctor to explain what to expect clearly.
