A member asked:

The white part of my eye ball has this pale faint blue to it, what does this mean, and why is it like that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thin sclera: Where the sclera is thin, it appears blue from the deoxygenated blood the choroidal blood vessel layer next to the sclera. This is normal in patients who are nearsighted.
