Yes: We've been able to cure hepatitis c for several years now, but the treatments were difficult. Two new drugs approved in the last month make it much easier. However, each must currently be taken with interferon, so at best, you have to put up with interferon side effects for 3 months. In the fall of 2014, we may have regimens that don't require interferon.
