Same: The signs and symptoms are the same, such as chest pain, shortness of breath, arrhythmias, and such. The issue has been that for reasons not clearly understood, women presenting with the same symptoms as men are less likely to have been believed. Fortunately, that situation appears to have improved.

MI women: Good question! wished i could say there was a precise and definite symptom...There isn't. Symptoms of mi in women tend to be nonspecific and range from shortness of breath, dizziness, fatigue, upset stomach , neck pain, to overall malaise. When in doubt... Please see a doctor as soon as possible. You got one chance... Only one!

What is a heart attack like if woman?

Dr. Rada Ivanov

Typical sometimes: May be the same as everything described for mostly male populations or slightly different with less pain and more anxiety, or trying to minimize the pain because the woman needs to care for children, family etc. On the other end of the spectrum, doctors sometimes disregard women's heart attack symptoms and attribute them to hysteria. Take yourself seriously!

Very unlikely: 24 year old people are at very low risk for having heart attacks. 24 year old females are at even smaller risk. This makes it very unlikely.
A 46-year-old female asked:

What are the symptoms of a heart attack for a woman?

Too ambiguous: This answer could take up a whole text book. Females have a varied and sometimes minimal experience with heart attacks. This site works better if you ask about your own symptoms or concerns.
