Not recommended: Daily. Patients who use acute medications excessively to alleviate migraine are at risk for developing analgesic rebound headache and drug-induced headache. These patients may also use medications provided by family and friends and it is not unusual for a migraine patient to use both prescription and nonprescription analgesics at the same time. Rec. See headache and orofacial pain specialist.
