i took 2 aleves (naproxen) about 30-45 mins ago for a bad headache but it's not working can i take an excedrin?

Yes, you can: Excedrin contains acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine. Aleve (naproxen) is OTC NSAID. You can take both together for a short period of time to prevent medication overuse headache.
