Post-cholecystectomy: Gallbladder removal may result in a secretory diarrhea due to excess bile salts in the GI tract. Although the temporal relationship between the beginning of your diarrhea and the surgery would suggest this diagnosis, i would need to gather more information to exclude other possibilities. A GI doctor or your surgeon may be able to recommend treatment measures or a bile salt/acid binding resin.
