My 2.5 year has had diarrhea for the last 48 hrs. on loperamide. 4xday1 2xday2. should i see a doc as i think it is a viral infection?

Emergency visit!: Please stop the Loperamide immediately, make certain your child is well hydrated with a good oral rehydation solution such as Pedialyte and get your child to an Emergi Clinic for an immediate evaluation and treatment! Dehydration from the diarrhea & possible toxicity from the Loperamide are possible. And a proper diagnoses of the cause of the diarrhea is needed.
