Probably normal: As long as you do not pass out and fall and potentially hurt yourself you are probably experiencing just the normal tendency of the blood to rush to the legs (and out of your head) when standing up fast. If this persists or seems to get worse i would mention this to your doctor who maybe able to quantify this (e.g. Tilt table test) and recommend some therapy (compression stockings) if needed.

Blackouts: This sounds like a condition called orthostatic hypotension, in which rising from a lying position causes a diminished blood flow to the brain. While there are many causes, including anemia or other causes of fluid loss, it deserves an exam and attention from a doctor to rule out the more serious and often very occult causes which may include spinal fluid leaks.
