Who knows: There is not a known cause(s) of autism. There are many studies that show associations of many kinds. An association means that there may or may not be a relationship between the two events. Induction and autism have an association in at least one study.

Study needs to be: Replicated. I would recommend that you read the information on this at the autism speaks website. The correlation is not strong, but nevertheless may exist. The research needs to be repeated to make sure that the study is valid.
