My mom is going away for three days and i'm scared. how old should you be before staying alone ?

How old are you?: Did you tell your mom that you are scared about her going away and leaving you alone? Do you have any relative or friend in the area? If she needs to go, she may arrange for someone to be with you or take you with her if feasible. Many kids 12 and older can stay home during day, but at night should be 17-18 or older.
