More specifics: Are necessary to pin down the cause. Would strongly urge you to see your primary physician for an evaluation.

See an OB/GYN: This could be due to several things, both anatomical and psychological. Only a detailed history and thorough physical exam is likely to unearth the cause for this. Good luck.

A 17-year-old female asked:
What does it mean when you still get bellyache after your periods?

Can be normal: In general, many women experience mild to moderate cramping, before, during and even after their periods. This is quite normal and taking some nsaids (ibuprofen, advil, alleve) can help. Generally the cramping can be tied to changes to the uterus, increase in gaseousness, or increase gastric motility related to hormone spikes.
