Yes; albuterol: You should probably see a doctor. Asthma is usually triggered by allergies ; there is probably something you are allergic to in belieze you don't encounter in sf; hopefully this will go away when you return. For now albuterol is the most commonly used inhaler for acute relief. Magnesium is often helpful (esp. Glycinate ; citrate). For home remedies see http://earthclinic.Com/cures/asthma.Html.

Wheezing: Beside asthma, bronchitis and other lung or heart diseases can cause wheezing. I would suggest you see a local physician for better diagnosis. In the mean time before you can see a physician, an albuterol inhaler might temporarily relieve wheezing. However you still would need to be seen by a physician so no severe pathologies are missed. Have a safe trip.
