Can any of these medications cause extremely dry mouth? plaquenil,, atenolol, nexium (esomeprazole) , or wellbutrin (i just started wellbutrin 2 weeks ago)

Dry mouth: yes. These medications can cause dry mouth. Dry mouth makes you at high risk for dental decay. Avoid sugary and acidic foods and drinks. Avoid mouthwash with alcohol. These will make your mouth drier. Chew xylitol or sugar free gum. Have regular dental care.

All of the above: The most common side effects of Wellbutrin (bupropion) are agitation, extremely dry mouth and insomnia. see your prescribing physician for medication adjustment.
