Get exam: Anything new like what you have, memory or thinking process have to be evaluated by our doctor. You are on certain medicines that can affect your immune system, and your liver and chemistry and you have a disease that has to be closely watched also. A good evaluation, and tests as needed is warranted. Good luck.

Tooth brush cleaning: No. Sle is an auto- immune disorder and is not a communicable disease. But other diseases can be transmitted on a toothbrush. An effective and simple method to clean everybody's brush is to run them through the dishwasher, once a week. If you still forget which is yours use a antiseptic mouth wash afterwards. Colgate, listerine, crest etc. All have excellent products. Be cautious of alcohol %.
