Alopecia: If your daughter has a patch of alopecia it may be caused by a condition called trichotillomania or hair pulling syndrome. Take her to a dermatologist who can rule out the condition and determine if its actually alopecia. He then may be able to help you with a possible liquid steroid preparation.
