Not really: Interpretation of dreams has been the subject of theologians and philosophers for centuries. But, having strange dreams in and of themselves doesn't necessarily mean you have a sleep disorder. Having said that, some medications, like chantix, are known to cause very vivid and sometime disturbing dreams. Also, after alcohol, you can have vivid, strange dreams, too.

Dreams: There is no scientifc validity to theories of dream interpretation and much of Hobson and Stickgold's reasearch has disproven Freudian dream interpretation. Dream work occurs a a cellular level and the most important thing to remember is that we want to peacefully sleep through them. See provider info and book.
