A member asked:

Why are children more likely to get salmonella

Hand hygiene: Children tend to put their hands in their mouth more often and they are prone to touching surfaces that can be contaminated with salmonella more easily. Teaching good hand washing as well as keeping little fingers out of the mouth is very important and will reduce infection rates.

Do They??: I am not sure that they are more likely. But if so, probably because they may not be as good with hygiene.
