A member asked:

Im a 49 year old female. a couple years ago, i suddenly developed a wart on my chin. had it removed, now i suddenly have one on my upper arm. does this mean my immune system is weak? menopause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not menopause: Menopause isn't associated with increased susceptibility to viral diseases, such as warts. It may not mean your immune system is 'weak' per se, though of course viral illnesses and lesions can be affected by diminished or weakened immune system. Sleep is #1 way to help fend off viral illnesses, make sure you're getting at least 7-8 hours a night. Good luck!
