If nothing, then remember that the season is not about giving gifts but the love bestowed on the world...And many times children are happier with the time you spend with them than things. Also consider making gifts...Out of household items...Let them know they are loved...

Don't fret.: The most important part of the Christmas holiday is the expression and understanding of the Christmas spirit. The birth of Jesus. And feeling the Christmas spirit doesn't cost anything. Show your children the Christmas spirit. Go to church and celebrate. Maybe help the poor or visit an orphanage.
