See below: Sounds like your father may be having some degenerative arthritis symptoms. Is there any history of trauma. What kind of work activities is your father doing and what has he done in the past through his life as a job. An orthopedic evaluation with x-rays and a physical examination would be helpful in giving treatment recommendations to your father . Good luck thank you.
