The most worrisome: cause of extremity/leg pain with walking is peripheral vascular disease. This occurs when the arteries supplying the legs/leg muscles are diseased with plaque obstructions from atherosclerosis...the same disease process that causes heart attacks and strokes. Sometimes similar symptoms can be caused by spinal problems...compression of nerves by spinal stenosis. Only a exam/tests by Doc can diagnose
