Many: There are many types of lung-related illnesses ranging from infections of the lungs (pneumonias and bronchitis) to inflammatory conditions of the lungs (sarcoidosis) to malignancies of the lungs (lung cancers). Other lung conditions have to do with impaired oxygen exchange such as emphysema (damage to the small air sacs) and edema (fluid within the lung air sacs). Hope that this helps.
