Rest the ankle.: Also consider elevating it. Tylenol (acetaminophen) or nsaid's may help with pain. See your physician if it is not improving.

Pain: When pain arises for no reason that indicates it is time for an evaluation and not home care . See your podiatrist for an exam and x rays.
