Taste buds: Could be sensitivity to food, poor oral hygiene, inflammation from smoking, viral, bacterial, from medications plus lots of other things. Perhaps even normal circumvallate papillae in the back of your tongue that were always there and you just noticed them. See your dentist or physician for evaluation.
