Metallic taste: Most often causes are gum disease or some medications. Start by seeing your dentist for an exam and evaluation. He\she may send you to a physician if appropriate.

Blood test: You might have some vitamin deficiency or you might be taking too many supplemental medications, i.e. Zinc, magnesium, etc. See your physician for a blood test to check your levels.
