Clicking and locking: In a wrist could be a ligament injury or tear, a looseness in the wrist causing a "clunk" when the wrist bones ar out of position and suddenly "catch up" and snap into place, a snapping tendon that is out of place and other things, fimgers can also lock from trigger fingers. Snapping in the elbow can be joint or tendon related.
