Do you think my hard cast is going to make my ct scan poor?

Hard cast: If that is the body part being scanned, artifact from the cast will likely degrade the images somewhat. However, the images may still be sufficient to answer the clinical question, for example the degree of bone union.

10wks ago transversely oriented fracture through the waist of scaphoid, its been demobilized. Now CT scan revealed: bulk of the fracture plane has healed with solid osseous union(estimate 80-85%).Can I remove the soft-cast and start rehab if no pain?
Told by the doc in a&e dist fib fx wasn't stable no symptoms cast ortho said 6wks nwb aircast 2mths CT shows good alignment no union why hasn't it healed ?
