Contacts: See and eye specialist. It may be out, but you may have scratched your eye by continuing to remove it, or caused and infection. It may still be in there, you need examined. You can try pulling your upper lid out and down over you lower lid and letting go to see if the flushes it out, or you could have a friend look in your eye for it. Otherwise get examined.
