I have worn contacts for 18 years- my eyes are fine when i wear them, but have dry eyes when i don't. if i stop wearing them, will my eyes get better?

Sensitivity : It is not uncommon to have increased sensitivity to dryness after taking the contacts out of your eyes. There needs to be a period of readjustment (weeks). Use artificial tears like Refreshâ„¢ several times daily to help with dryness. Warm eyelid compresses once daily & 2000mg of fish oil supplement may help too. In contact lens issues, it's always a good idea to have your eyes checked too.
