No: One can test any patient at any age. However, testing needs to be based upon the age of the patient, the pateints symptoms and the likely culprits. In the very young indoor allergens are more important/likely that outdoor allergens. One should expect very limited testing in a 2 month old if testing is needed.

Nasal wash: At 2 months the primary cause of congestion is the environment. House dust, fragrance, perfumes, detergent or cleaning products all leave scents that may not bother you but irritate a babies nose. A good nasal clean out with saline can remove much of this irritant load, but removing the offending irritants from babies life helps more in the long run.Air particle filters can also help.
