Leg clots: That is a difficult question to answer. Many times clots in your legs are treated and they go away without a problem and at other times they may lead to severe swelling that persists or the clot may even move somewhere like into the lungs. Each case has to be evaluated based on the facts of that case to determine exactly how serious it is.
