Asthma: It looks like your child's asthma is not controlled. Asthma is a inflammation disease of the airway. Many things can cause it including allergies. Once it occurs frequently, we call it persistent asthma. Persistent asthma needs to be on an asthma controller every day even if the patient does well to prevent future attacks. Both allergist and pulmonologist are well trained in taking care of asthma.
