A few steps: An MRI would usually reveal presence of a lesion consisted with injury to brain tissue, but the so-called "mini" may represent a reversible transient ischemic attack, which may only reveal a white matter lesion. Certain signs and symptoms such as unilateral weakness, might be due to stroke, and transient loss of vision in one eye might be a warning sign.
