In some cases: Taking an antidepressant can make a situation worse. For example - if a person becomes irritable, aggressive, has high energy level or is unable to sleep - these are examples of negative side effects. If you believe that your symptoms are worse on your prescribed antidepressant than please tell your doctor or psychiatrist asap. Take care.
